An easy and delicious sauce that’s delicious on grilled meat!
I would swan dive right into this sauce if it was socially acceptable. Feta cheese is one of my great loves. It’s been a favorite ingredient of mine since I was a teenager. I can’t ever get enough feta. If something has feta on a menu, I’ll probably order it. So what could be better than smothering meat with this feta cheese sauce?
This is as easy as it is delicious. It’s just a few healthy ingredients blended together and chilled: Greek yogurt (I always use Greek Gods Yogurt), feta cheese, olive oil, lemon juice, oregano. That’s it! I served this (a double batch) over lamb lollipops at Disney Dinners: Hercules but it’s equally delicious on grilled chicken. If you like feta like me, you’ll make this again and again!

Feta Cheese Sauce
1/2 cup feta cheese
1/2 cup plain Greek Gods yogurt
2 Tbsp olive oil
1.5 Tbsp freshly squeeze lemon juice (about 1.5 small lemons)
1-2 sprigs fresh Greek oregano
- Blend ingredients until smooth. Chill for at least an hour before serving.
