I’ve linked said glass slipper cookie cutter in my Amazon affiliate store for your convenience:

This is not a new recipe. I’ve posted about my fiori di sicilia cookies before. I cut them out to be eiffel towers at The Rose Table en Blanc and I’ve served them at Christmas many times but don’t they look just so lovely sparkling with white sprinkles? Sugar cookies seem like a real pain and something that The Rose Table would not serve when making 20 dishes; however, if you cut the frosting, they’re really quite quick to make and I find, a welcome addition to any party. Not every dish should be heavy and rich. These are light, soft, and the flavor gets rave reviews.

The vanilla-orange extract adds a delicate flavor that makes virtually anything taste fancy. My favorite fiori di sicilia hails from King Arthur Flour. Get a bottle for the baker in your life next time you need a hostess gift. It will rock their world.
