The Inn at Entrada Review

This August I had the most magical time at the Inn at Entrada on a girls trip with one of my friends. We stayed for three nights and were not at all ready to leave. There’s so much to do at the resort and nearby. Here’s everything you need to know about St. George’s Inn at Entrada!

About Inn at Entrada

The Inn at Entrada is southern Utah’s premiere luxury resort. It’s conveniently located, just minutes away from Broadway in the Desert at Tuacahn Amphitheatre, historic St. George, and excellent hiking at Zion National Park, Snow Canyon, and Pioneer Park. The rooms at Inn at Entrada are individual casitas with panoramic views of red vermillion cliffs. The decor is inspired by ancient Anasazi civilizations. There’s so much to do at this gorgeous resort: cycling, hiking, a championship golf course, a fitness center, spa, tennis courts, and more.

Just two hours from Vegas, Inn at Entrada is easy to get to. You can even fly directly to St. George. A new non-stop service from Dallas to St. George opens up this September so this will be the first of many stays at Inn at Entrada!

The Casita

Comfortable doesn’t even begin to describe the casitas at Inn at Entrada. You could easily live in an Entrada casita – and some people do! We stayed in a one-bedroom casita with a golf course view. Our patio was outfitted with a table and chairs next to a babbling brook with sweeping views of the course and the canyon beyond. Motorized shades that open and close at the click of a button let you enjoy the view or block the sun from heating up the living room. There’s a second outdoor space out front, a darling sitting area where you might want to have coffee.

The kitchen is well-stocked with mixing bowls, measuring cups, a blender, knives, cutting boards, and dishes. The kitchen has a gas range, dishwasher, fridge, and coffee maker. We were able to bring back leftovers on more than one occasion to enjoy later. You could easily cook in this kitchen with a beautiful view.

The bathroom is huge. The photos don’t even capture how large the tub is. I should have hopped in there so you could get a feel for the size! The walk-in shower has a step for convenient shaving. Most importantly, the bathroom has ample counter space and a separate water closet for the toilet.

The casita has two fireplaces – one in the living room and one in the bedroom – that also turn on and off by the press of a button. The decor is inspired by the Anasazi people who inhabited the area thousands of years ago. The aesthetic is calming and aims to connect you with nature.

Amenities

Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club is one of the main draws. The Johnny Miller  signature designed 18-hole championship golf course weaves around the canyon stretching out over 7,000 scenic yards. Entrada is Utah’s premiere golf course and was ranked the #1 year-round golf course in the state by Golf Digest. Learn more about golf at Entrada here.

Not a golfer? No problem, me either! Inn at Entrada has a gorgeous swimming pool complete with a water golf, kiddie pool, and hot tub that could fit about 30 of your closest friends. Fun fact for you Disney lovers: High School Musical 2 was filmed at Inn at Entrada and heavily featured this pool!

The building next to the pool houses a lovely fitness center (which looks out to the pool), gift shop, spa, and an indoor lap pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our hot stone massages on departure day.

Dining

Another amenity is the on-site dining. Sadly the restaurant was closed during most of our trip as we were there Sunday-Wednesday during the off season but we did get to enjoy wraps, fries, and smoothies poolside as well as lunch on our final day, which was enough for me to confidently tell you that the food is great.

The Grille at Entrada overlooks the golf course on the second floor of the Entrada clubhouse. You can have a casual lunch or a swanky dinner. The butterscotch pot de creme is not to be missed and I’m still hungry for the hummus plate!

One response to “Inn at Entrada”

  1. […] The Inn at Entrada is southern Utah’s premiere luxury resort and it’s easy to see why: the golf resort looks like it be Utahland in Disneyland! It’s “clean as a whistle” as my dad says and has some of the prettiest views I’ve ever seen. Conveniently located just minutes from Tuacahn Amphitheater, Snow Canyon, and St. George, you could easily spend a whole summer at Inn at Entrada. The rooms are beautifully appointed casitas on the golf course complete with washers and dryers and full stocked kitchens. […]
