La Belle et la Bête

La Belle et la Bête | Disney Beauty and the Beast Cocktail

Looking for an elegant, easy Beauty and the Beast cocktail? You found it! The strawberry roses are an extra magical touch.

I tweaked a simple champagne cocktail for Disney Dinners: Beauty and the Beast. La Belle et la Bête is a mix of Chambord, a French mixed berry liqueur, and Veuve Clicquot, my favorite champagne. This Beauty and the Beast cocktail is French and fabulous and whimsical, thanks to the strawberry roses on the side.

Shout out to my friend Rebecca for successfully carving these roses! She did a fantastic job. There are tons of video tutorials all over the internet. Just search “strawberry roses.”

La Belle et la Bête

Strawberries for garnish
1/4 oz Chambord liqueur
Veuve Clicquot Champagne

  1. Wash and pat strawberries dry. Set strawberry on a cutting board stem side down. Use a sharp pairing knife to carve thing slices all around, never cutting all the way through, to form petals. Make a small slit through the stem and secure on the side of champagne glasses.
  2. Pour 1/4 oz Chambord liqueur in a champagne flute. Top with Veuve Clicquot.

  1. […] I paired a new version of one of my favorite champagne cocktails featuring Chambord liqueur and Veuve Clicquot with the cheese soufflé. My friends brought a gorgeous French burgundy to pair with the beef ragout. I served decaf coffee with the grey stuff. Get the recipe for La Belle et la Betê here. […]

  2. These look so pretty! I love the rose strawberries.

    1. Thank you! Plus they were delicious when plopped in the glass. 🙂

      1. Yes! Strawberries and champagne are the perfect match.

      2. I couldn’t agree more! Do you have a favorite champagne label?

      3. To be honest, I am not really picky when it comes to wine or champagne! Lol. I have tried the Veuve Clicquot before though and it was delish.
