The Rose Table is a food and lifestyle blog and video series. I have long loved to cook and entertain. My favorite way to unwind after a workday is to play some jazz, pull some produce out of the garden, pour a glass of wine, and cook for my friends. I originally started this website simply because friends frequently asked for my recipes. It wasn’t until the excitement a friend’s friend actually making my Bacon Avocado Crab Salad that I decided to turn my personal blog into The Rose Table.
The goal of The Rose Table is to inspire people to set a beautiful table, cook elegant meals, and make dinner an event. My motto is Savoring Life’s Pleasures. My cooking style is simple and elegant. I’m heavily influenced by Greek and Californian cuisines and I pick up most of my fruits, veggies, cheeses, and meats at my local farmers market.
Please note: The Rose Table is a website and online show, not a restaurant. I so appreciate the many requests to book a table at The Rose Table but presently, I only cook for my friends in my home.

So many of my friends have told me that my yard has inspired them to get growing. When I bought my first house, the backyard had nothing but grass past the covered patio. In five years I added a huge garden bed, two raised bed vegetable gardens, a flagstone patio, a flagstone path, a hammock, four crepe myrtles, two plum trees, and thirty kinds of roses. I love growing my own food and having friends over to harvest and grill fresh veggies for dinner in the garden! I was sad to leave my first yard when I sold my house but I had a blast creating another Wonderland at my new house. I have a courtyard for entertaining and grilling, a shady patio where I love to drink coffee in the morning, and a fire pit patio for cozy nights.
Here at The Rose Table, you’ll get a look into my garden and the different kinds of food I grow. I believe that if you start with fresh ingredients, you’re already halfway to a great meal. If you follow me on Twitter (@therosetable), you can even come along to the farmers market with me on Saturday mornings and stroll through the garden with me daily. I so love shaking hands with the man who makes my favorite cheese!
The Rose Table is now a cookbook! Filled with seventy of my FAVORITE recipes, this cookbook contains tried-and-true recipes that you can count on for every day and entertaining. You can purchase my first ever cookbook here.
In addition to original recipes, you’ll find garden inspiration, and party menus. Even a weeknight dinner can be turned into a Rose Table evening with some candlelight and fresh flowers! In 2018 I started my Disney Dinners series, the most popular content on The Rose Table! The whimsical adult dinner parties can be seen on the Disney Dinners tab. You can binge watch the whole series here. Who’s ready to pull up a chair at The Rose Table?
Happy entertaining,

Hi Becky! I just cook for my friends in my home. I don’t have a restaurant to visit but I promise: someday I’m going to create a place where my readers can come and feel as happy as I am in my kitchen. 🙂
