Holiday at the Arboretum 2025

Holiday at the Arboretum

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, so you know what that means: Holiday at the Arboretum! The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden is wonderful year round but during the Christmas season, there’s a little extra magic to be found in the garden.

Christmas Village

Looking for a slice of Europe this holiday season? The Arboretum’s adorable Christmas Village is included with your garden admission and will have you feeling like you stepped into a Hallmark movie. You’ll find a Biergarten with pretzels, bratwurst, cookies, strudel, and Glühwein plus tons of family-friendly photo ops and souvenir stalls.

There’s even a scavenger hunt throughout the Christmas village that delighted my niece last year. Some stalls even give out little gifts like small ornaments to the kiddos. The biggest draw for families? Photos with Santa and a sleigh photo op in front of a Christmas tree!

12 Days of Christmas Exhibit

Stroll around the garden and find all 12 Days of Christmas gazebos. The sweet 25-foot-tall gazebos are spread out throughout the garden and feature gorgeous depictions of each line of the classic Christmas carol. They’re beautiful day or night and take you on a beautiful garden stroll amongst twinkling lights and acres of pristine landscaping!

Need to Know

Holiday at the Arboretum runs through January 4th and is open nightly until 10 pm. Tickets range from $15-$25. You can choose to visit during the day or at night during the holiday season. Plan on at least two hours in the garden. You can even enjoy a lovely holiday tea in the garden, lunch, and cocktails and you can even tour the historic DeGolyer house all decked for Christmas.
