Alpine Hot Chocolate

Alpine Hot Chocolate

Looking for the best cup of hot chocolate in the world? You found it! This rich, luxurious Alpine Hot Chocolate is the perfect way to warm up this winter.

Thank you to my grocery partner Kroger for supporting The Rose Table and this recipe! It’s partnerships like this that keep The Rose Table going.

A mug of this perfect hot chocolate will transport you to a fabulous ski resort in the Swiss Alps! This recipe is a stone’s throw away from the viral French Hot Chocolate, which is SO rich, it’s practically ganache. Personally I like my hot chocolate a bit more drinkable.

I served a big batch of this as dessert at my Alpine Christmas Party with vanilla whipped cream, cinnamon marshmallows, and cookie stirrers.

Cinnamon Marshmallows

My parents and my foodie best friend all said this is the BEST hot chocolate they’ve ever had. My mom even called me Judy the Elf (if you know, you know) and I can’t think of a higher compliment than that. Try this delightful recipe and see for yourself!
