“Different roads sometimes lead to the same castle.”
― George R.R. Martin, A Game of Thrones
My readers know that I only ever cover my personal travels but this was simply too great not to share. Online travel company CheapOair is offering travel packages so that Game of Thrones fans can have an authentic “Westeros and Essos” experience. Fans can visit Spain, where the kingdom of Dorne and the slavers’ city of Meereen are, or see where Jon Snow fights Qhorin Halfhand in Iceland, or even visit the House of the Undying in Dubrovnik.
This is not the first time I’ve mentioned my love of Game of Thrones here on The Rose Table. You may remember my Game of Thorns 2015 and 2016, an annual article where I chronicle the first blooms of the year. Since I moved and had to start over with a new garden, you can expect Game of Thorns to come back in 2018. In the meantime, check out these awesome Game of Thrones filming locations and add them to your travel bucket list!

I’ve been to the Real Alcazar in Seville – it was amazing! I can only recommend visiting.
Maybe there’ll be a post about it in the future on my blog 🙂
