Wine and Magic is a monthly show at Checkered Past Winery featuring award-winning magician Trigg Watson (no relation) and it’s not to be missed. I’ve taken a ton of friends now and everyone has been always blown away by Trigg. He takes every expectation you have about a magic show, addresses it, and turns it into something amazing. Trigg has a wonderful sense of humor weaved into his magic too, which is my favorite part.
Tickets are $20 and shows are at 7:00 pm and 9:30 pm. I usually go to the 7 o’clock and get there early to get a good table and order some delicious plates before it gets too busy. Don’t forget to try a few of my favorite dishes:
This is the creamiest cheesecake I think I’ve ever had outside of New York City. It’s hands down the best cheesecake I’ve had in Dallas. It’s unbelievably creamy and the cherry compote just puts it over the edge. It’s rare that I prefer a non-chocolate dessert but this cheesecake is not to be missed!
