The Mar-Vell

Marvel Cocktail

A delicious cranberry cocktail

I can’t take any credit for the name. My sister-in-law Heather named this cocktail and it’s spot on! In the comic books, Mar-Vell is the original Captain Marvel. In the new MCU film Captain Marvel, Mar-Vell is Captain Marvel’s mentor. I came up with this dangerously delicious cocktail for my Captain Marvel dinner party. It’s red and gold, like Captain Mavel’s signature star suit, and packs a punch just like she does.

Marvel Cocktail

Sometimes simple cocktails are the best. Orange and cranberry is a winning flavor combination in my book and it’s oddly refreshing. This would make a great poolside cocktail!

Marvel Cocktail
The Mar-Vell
1 cup ice
8 oz cranberry juice
1.5 oz vodka
1 oz Grand Marnier
Two dashes angostura bitters
Lemon for Garnish

  1. Add ice to hurricane glass. Stir together cranberry juice, vodka, and Grand Marnier in the glass. Top with two dashes angostura bitters and a lemon slice.
