I wasn’t planning on writing this article but I’ve been blown away by how many of you have messaged me about my new summer floaties and then immediately ordered them for yourselves! First of all, I have to say that I keep all of my floaties at my parents house, my childhood home, which is about fifteen minutes from my house. You can pretty much find me in their pool or the lake house all summer long. One of the perks of Texas is that I’ve been swimming for weeks now and testing out my new floaties for you. Here’s the scoop so you can have some fun in the sun!

Funboy Golf Cart Float
Have you ever seen anything more glamorous or epic? This is the chicest float I’ve ever seen and I just had to have it. I ordered it from Funboy, which carries all luxury floats. It’s a pretty reasonable price considering that it’s a huge two-person float with its own UV shade roof (with fringe!).
I cannot stress this strongly enough: this is the most comfortable floatie I have ever lounged on. Three of my friends have said the same already too. It has so much back support! It’s really a perfectly designed floatie.
This floatie is huge. Here I am after attaching the UV shade before putting it in the pool for the first time. I’m 5’5″ and it comes up to my shoulder!

The golf cart has two cupholders in the front and enough room to fully extend your legs with optimal back support.

This floatie is enormous compared to standard floats. My parents’ pool is quite a bit larger than your average pool so keep that in mind when you’re looking at the size of this golf cart.

And in case you were wondering, my dog Henry also gives it a paws up! I was torn between Funboy’s golf cart and the less expensive private jet floatie but I decided on the golf cart because of the shade and the size, thinking that maybe, just maybe, my little dog might enjoy floating around in the golf cart with me and boy was I right.
I put a towel down so that his nails wouldn’t puncture it and so that he wouldn’t slide around and he happily floated the day away with me. It’s such a large, sturdy floatie, there’s really no fear of it tipping or even rocking, making it quite pet friendly in my opinion. (Just make sure to regularly cool off your pet!)

Pineapple Floatie
I got this Jasonwell floatie on Amazon (LINK) for $27 and have been pretty impressed with the quality for the price! It’s a simple lounger that stores easily and makes for quite the glamorous Instagram photos.
Warning: this too is quite comfy. I actually FELL ASLEEP for an hour and got a little burned. Whoops!
Mermaid Tale
This is a tube with a photo-worthy twist. Also a Jasonwell, this float is only $21 on Amazon (link)! The idea is that you look like a mermaid while floating around in this fun tube. It’s quite a bit larger than a standard tube, which I like, because let’s face it, I’m pretty busty and there’s nothing worse than having to squeeze your chest in a small tube.

Rainbow Drink Station
My gateway luxury floatie was the Funboy Rainbow Drink Station last summer, which is still available (LINK)! It has four cup holders and a large center space to keep drinks and snacks chilled. Plus, it just puts a smile on your face to look at it!
Lastly, I never buy bags for myself so I have to proudly show you my new Draper James tote! It’s so perfect for the farmers market, picnics, and to keep your things cool and dry by the pool.
Comment and let me know what your favorite float is!
