An easy, fun idea for Halloween!
I don’t know about you but I want quick and easy recipes that look festive on Halloween night. That’s why I always pipe a little spiderweb on salsa to pair with my Jack-o-Lantern Quesadillas. I don’t make homemade salsa on Halloween but feel free to!
A smooth salsa works best. I happened to use a particularly chunky (and delicious!) salsa the day I took these pictures. It’s extra festive with orange and black tortilla chips.

Spiderweb Salsa
Salsa (homemade or store bought)
2 Tbsp sour cream
A bit of heavy cream
- Pour salsa into a bowl.
- Whisk together sour cream and a bit of heavy cream until you get a nice consistency for piping. Spoon mixture into a sandwich bag and cut a tip so you can pipe out of the bag. Squeeze the mixture onto the salsa in a spiderweb form: one dot in the center and three octagons. Use a toothpick to pull the sour cream through the octagon points. This is adorable with a plastic spider nearby too!
