Cranberry Baked Brie, Christmas Appetizers

This recipe is similar to my Cranberry Brie Bites but instead of individual appetizers, this is one large wheel of brie baked in a puff pastry. It takes minutes to prepare and is delicious with crackers, bread, or apple slices.

This recipe calls for my homemade cranberry sauce, which has orange juice, lemon zest, and a splash of vanilla. It’s perfect with brie! You could also sub out raspberry jam (or any kind of jam!) if you prefer.

Be sure to let this cool for 10-15 minutes after you take it out of the oven. It’s much tastier after it sits for a few minutes.

Cranberry Baked Brie
1 puff pastry sheet, thawed but chilled
1 round of brie
1/4 cup homemade cranberry sauce
1 egg, beaten
Rosemary sprigs, crackers for serving

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Roll chilled puff pastry out a bit thinner than it comes. Unwrap brie cheese and set in the center of the puff pastry. Carefully spoon homemade cranberry sauce on top of brie. Gently fold the puff pastry corners in to form a cute little package.
  2. Transfer to a cookie sheet and use a pastry brush to brush puff pastry with beaten egg.
  3. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden. Let cool for 10-15 minutes before serving. Serve with crackers and sprigs of rosemary.
