Bloomin’ Hero

Bloomin' Hero | Pimm's Cup British Cocktail Perfect for Summer

“He was a bloomin’, hero, ma’am! A bloomin’ hero.” – Nanny

One of my favorite quotes in 101 Dalmatians is Nanny calling Rodger a “bloomin’ hero” for his courage. I heard that and I knew that going to be the name of my cocktail at Disney Dinners: 101 Dalmatians.

This is my take on a classic British Pimm’s Cup. Instead of sparkling water (British lemonade), I used American lemonade and it’s *quite* a bit stronger than a typical Pimm’s Cup. After all, this cocktail is a bloomin’ hero!

Bloomin' Hero | Pimm's Cup British Cocktail Perfect for Summer

This is such a perfect cocktail to sip on when it’s hot outside. It’s light and refreshing and bursting with a comical amount of fruit: orange slices, whole strawberries, and cucumber slices with a big garnish of fresh English mint.

What more does a gal need for the perfect drink to sip on in the summer? I’ve written this up both for a pitcher and individual cocktails – it’s just as easy to make either way!
