Strawberry Spritz

I made this cocktail up for my friend Yasmine and we couldn’t believe how delicious it is. The best part? This drink is so good for you! We kept calling it the “happy tummy” because it has fresh mint and ginger ale, two things that are fantastic for your stomach.

I wrote this recipe up for one cocktail but it easily doubles. You could even multiply the recipe to make a whole pitcher for a garden party or to enjoy poolside all summer long.

If you’ve never tried Gin Marie Capri, I highly recommend it! This Mediterranean gin goes down so easy. I put it in everything!

Don’t ever let simple syrup deter you. It could not be easier to make. I always have some in my fridge for cocktails, lattes, cakes, and more. Just whisk equal parts water and granulated sugar (example: one cup water, one cup sugar) and cook until the sugar has melted and the liquid is completely clear. Let cool and store in a jar in the fridge for several weeks.
