I’ve been growing a Spicy Basil Globe plant this summer and used this delicious herb to make the most intriguing caprese salad. If you grow Spicy Basil, you must try my Spicy Basil Caprese Salad – especially if you grow your own tomatoes!
I make caprese salad all summer long. It’s truly the quintessential summer dish. It’s so quick and easy but always seems so fancy and elegant. Make it right before you want to serve it and for heavens sake, only make it when you can get really, really good tomatoes.
I finally decided to try my spicy basil caprese to take on a fabulous vineyard picnic last weekend and it did not disappoint! I hope you love this as much as I do.
