Star Spangled Punch 4th of July

I made a similar cranberry-lemonade punch for Christmas earlier this year and made a note to make a 4th of July version for summertime. If you want to add some sparkle, add ginger ale or sprite. It’s really so easy to customize this simple base!

I served this easy Independence Day drink at my Patriotic Pool Party. I did not include any alcohol in it and my two (almost three!) year-old niece loved it.

Star Spangled Punch 4th of July

Star Spangled Punch
2 bottles lemonade
2 bottles cranberry juice
3 slices watermelon, cut into stars
Optional: ginger ale
Optional: vodka or gin

  1. Use a star cookie cutter to cut out watermelon stars.
  2. Combine lemonade and cranberry juice in a punch bowl or drink dispenser. If you’d like, add vodka or gin to spike and/or ginger ale for a sparkling punch.
  3. Add watermelon stars and blueberries and serve.
