Looking for the perfect ocean-themed blue drink for your shark/mermaid/tropical party? Make my ocean blue Deep Water Cocktail!

Update: I’ve been making this easy cocktail for years but I recently served up a whole pitcher at my Jaws-themed shark pool party. I added cherries to adorable shark cups then poured the mixture right on top.

What’s lurking in deep water? Is that blood?! No silly; it’s just a delicious Amarena cherry! Add a generous amount of cherry juice for extra special cocktail.

This delightful Caribbean blue cocktail is super simple to make but tastes quite complex. It’s an easy mix of lemonade, blue curaçao, coconut rum, and splash of *bloody* cherry juice. One sip and you’ll feel the ocean breeze wash over you! You’re one cocktail away from a vacation at home.

Deep Water Cocktail

1 oz coconut rum
1 oz blue curaçao
5 oz lemonade
Amarena cherry

1. Shake coconut rum, blue curaçao, and lemonade together in a cocktail shaker. Pour over ice in a short glass. Garnish with an Amarena cherry, allowing some of the juice to sink to the bottom.

Deep Water Pitcher

1 bottle lemonade (52 ounces)
10 ounces coconut rum
10 ounces blue curacao 
Amarena cherries

1. Mix together lemonade, coconut rum, and blue curacao in a pitcher. Chill until ready to serve. Spoon amarena cherries and a bit of cherry juice into each glass. Pour cocktail right on top.
