A Weekend at Warwick Melrose Dallas

Warwick Melrose Dallas Review

There’s just something about a staycation that I find so restorative – all the fun, none of the hassle of travel! My friend Hope and I checked into Warwick Melrose Dallas for a little girls trip full of food, jazz, pool time, and event a trip to the spa.

Accommodations

The rooms are quite spacious with ridiculously comfortable mattresses. You can see a full room tour in the YouTube video below. The staff was exceedingly accommodating and lovely. Amenities include huge TVs, WiFi, and access to the spa, pool, fitness center.

Library Bar

We sashayed down to the lobby for dinner, drinks, and jazz at one of the most iconic bars in Dallas: Library Bar. The sophisticated interior is rich with relaxed glamour and cozy candlelit vibes. I adore jazz so to me, this is a huge perk of staying at this hotel. There’s a different singer every night of the week to serenade you while you nosh on incredible bar food such as Spicy Calamari and Prime Rib Nachos.

The Pool

I admit, the hotel pool was a huge draw for our summer staycation. The large, sparkling pool is a little urban oasis tucked right in the middle of uptown. Cabanas are available for rent and a poolside bar is available to serve you a plethora of refreshing cocktails and bites. We spent about 4.5 hours at the pool, swimming, reading, drinking mojitos, and eating lunch on our shaded chaise lounges.

Landmark Prime Rib

If you love quiet luxury, you will love this steakhouse, which serves prime rib straight out of a vintage 1940s cart. We managed to eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Landmark during our weekend. Do not snooze on lunch. The burger was phenomenal and the fries at the Warwick never disappoint!

For dinner, we split Boursin stuffed mushrooms and an incredible brownie with candied pecans and cajeta. I thoroughly enjoyed my blackened salmon with spring pea risotto paired with a pinot noir from my beloved Paso Robles. Our server, Dustin, was attentive and cheerful. In fact, every staff member we interacted with all weekend was wonderful!

Le Spa

Sunday morning before our late check out, we headed to Le Spa for a bit of R&R. We learned that you actually don’t have to wait until your treatment day to enjoy the spa amenities – you can steam or pop into the divine showers any time during your stay.

I opted for a Himalayan salt massage and wow. My massage therapist was fantastic, moving with such care and confidence. The Himalayan salt was wonderful, leaving me exfoliated and energized for the drive home.

All in all it was another wonderful trip to Warwick Melrose Dallas! Watch the episode:
