It’s impossible not to get lost in the magic of Signor Vineyards. From the moment you set foot into their elegant gardens, you have no problems. Your troubles melt away with every sip. Here’s what a wine tasting at Signor Vineyards is like.

Wine Tasting

It was truly a perfect day in Texas for wine al fresco: 75 degrees, a soft breeze, not a cloud in the sky. Signor’s magnificent gardens were in fine form, with monarchs fluttering us as we walked through the entryway. We had a noon reservation for a wine tasting in the garden and we promptly ordered a charcuterie board for the occasion.

Priced at a reasonable $30, the seated tasting includes four Signor Vineyards wines. The current tasting includes pours of the 2023 Sauvignon Blanc, 2024 Rosé of Mourvédre, 2022 Sangiovese, and the 2022 Grand Pére. I loved the Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé, and Sangiovese so much that I promptly bought a bottle of each to bring home!

Charcuterie Board

The charcuterie board came with crackers, several cheese, crackers (I will dream about that cheddar!), three kinds of salami, prosciutto, cucumber slices, Marcona almonds pineapple, grapes, celery, peppers, and apricot jam. I absolutely loved the addition of pineapple – so unusual to see on a cheese board! Our server was an absolute delight and even suggested what to eat from our charcuterie board with each wine.

Joanna’s Market

After our tasting, we each ordered a glass of wine to enjoy while we strolled around the gardens and vineyards, popping into Joanna’s Market to buy some souvenirs. I bought a garden trowel and chocolates and immediately regretted not getting adorable bow champagne glasses. It’s such a cute shop so I highly recommend popping in while you’re there!

This really is one of my favorite places on the trail. The wine is fantastic and the garden is such a friendly environment to sip and savor. I hope you love Signor Vineyards as much as I do!
