Wondering how to make a DIY Kentucky Derby Betting Board? You’ve come to the right place! This easy DIY Betting Board was a hit at my Derby Party and is so easy to recreate.

We had some race fun at my Ultimate Kentucky Derby Party by betting real money at the party. I designed and printed a poster through Office Depot. They have Canva integrated, which made it super easy! I chose a horse race photo for the top, added the “PLACE YOUR BETS!” title with the rules as the subtitle.

The poster had all of the horses names listed plus a blank space for my guests to initial. Note: two horses were replaced the day of the race. You might want to just do lines and write in the horses right before the race for that reason.
I placed the poster on an easel with a rose garland around it and got so many compliments on how cute it was!

We set the rules at $2 per bet, one bet per horse, unlimited horses. This made it super easy to keep track of. Our pot ended up being $80. Me and two friends bet on Derby winner Mystik Dan and split the pot three ways. Everybody seemed to love the Derby party activity!

This custom poster cost me $35 to have printed. Totally worth it for the fun it allowed! Read more about my Derby Party and get all of the recipes here.
