Blueberry Picking in Rockwall

Blase Family Farms

I had the best day blueberry picking in Rockwall with my nieces and their parents! There is no cuter summer activity than a morning spent at Blase Family Farm. The pick-your-own-berry-farm has an atmospheric entrance, lovely wooded trails, and a short walk to pristine berry fields.

We headed straight out to the berry bushes with our Blase Family Farm buckets in tow. I picked over 2.5 pounds of blueberries and my brother’s family picked a whopping six pounds of berries between the four of them!

To say we had fun was an understatement. At one point my littlest niece announced, “This is the best day I ever had.” Need I say more?

Thanks to the staggered entrances, it never feels too crowded in the field. There was a nice breeze but I still highly recommend sunscreen and a floppy hat, even if you go early. Luckily the picnic tables are beautifully shaded in the wooded part of the property.

It’s the perfect place to cool off and enjoy a blueberry popsicle! Blase even have blueberry bushes for sale if you want to try to grow your own blueberries!

Happy picking,
