I’m not a crafty person so if I can do this, anyone can. I was walking through Home Depot earlier today when a tile caught my eye. Then another. And a third. “Trivets! I can make trivets!” I thought. After all, I’ve been meaning to buy some and the tiles were just $1.25 each.

The only other thing I needed to buy was drawer liner. In less than five minutes this evening, I laid each tile over the cork liner, cut out squares, peeled the back off the liner, and stuck each piece on the back of each tile. So easy, cheap, and gorgeous!

I also bought a peppermint plant to perk up my kitchen.
