The best cracked conch of the trip! A short walk on Blue Haven Resort‘s waterfront boardwalk, Salt is a causal sports bar with indoor and outdoor seating. Every course was fresh and flavorful and service was quick. You can even play billiards on the beach while you wait for your food! Since everything at Blue Haven Resort is romantic, even their casual dining restaurant has strung lights that come alive as the sun goes down.

The Rose Table’s Favorite Dishes:
Cracked Conch
This was my favorite cracked conch of the trip. Tossed in an herb and spice mix and deep fried, these crispy medallions of conch goodness are served in a bamboo basket with island sauce and lemon. When asked what was in the saffron sauce, our waitress said, “We have our secrets.” I respect that!
Tropical Salad
Mixed mesclun greens and thinly shaved tropical fruit make up this salad. The passion fruit dressing tastes like the Caribbean feels: happy, clean, and good for you. I could eat that dressing every day. I tossed some cracked conch in my salad and was moaning with delight. They really ought to offer the tropical salad with cracked conch as a main course. I highly recommend the combo!
Fish Tacos
These. Were. Awesome. I squeezed lemon juice all over my mahi mahi tacos with secret sauce, crisp iceberg lettuce, slivered bel peppers, and tomatoes. They sound so simple but I was stunned at how perfect they were.
Key Lime Pie
The key lime pie at Salt is more like cheesecake and I’m not complaining. We got ours split so a single order is quite a bit larger than what’s photographed here. It’s fantastically tart and I loved that they served it with chocolate sauce.
