Want to step up your grill game? Grill grapes! Between TikTok and Facebook, I’ve literally received thousands of comments about the grilled grapes seen at my Alice in Wonderland party. Apparently, the concept blew peoples’ minds. So I thought we’d take a minute to talk about grilled grapes today!
These are super easy to make. You just marinate a bunch of grapes in a bit of olive oil and balsamic for about an hour, then toss them on the grill for a few minutes. They get all warm and smokey and jammy and are just fabulous served over grilled chicken or pork. They’re also great on white pizza and on bread with ricotta cheese!

You can really do as much or as little as you want and yes, you can do this on gas or charcoal. I often just grill a couple of stems as shown above and I frequently do this on both charcoal and gas. Don’t be alarmed if the flames lick the grapes when you first throw them on the grill – that just adds to the smokey flavor!

Balsamic Grilled Grapes
1 large bunch red grapes
2 Tbsp olive oil
2 Tbsp balsamic vinaigrette
- Rinse and pat dry one large bunch of red seedless grapes. It’s easier to grill if you keep them as one bunch, but you want to end up with one stem for each piece of chicken. Toss grapes in a bowl with 2 Tbsp olive oil and 2 Tbsp balsamic vinaigrette, moving around to thoroughly coat. Marinate for an hour, turning every so often to coat every single grape.
- Grill marinated grapes for about three minutes or until bursting open. For an impressive dish, serve these over grilled chicken and couscous with crumbled feta cheese and basil.
