Happy National Wine Day! It’s a great day for rosé, don’t you think? Kuhlman Cellars has some of my favorite rosés. Their winemaker Bénédicte Rhyne is from Provence and I feel like you can taste a bit of that French passion for wine in every sip.
Today we’re talking about the 2020 Kuhlmanation Estate Rosé ($20). It’s another Provencial-style rosé made from 100% estate grown grapes. (If you live in Texas and haven’t been to Kuhlman’s stunning hill country estate, I highly recommend a visit ASAP – especially if you’re a foodie! Read about my last trip to Kuhlman Cellars here.) This rosé is floral, crisp, and bright, trademarks of the Kuhlmanation wines.
Kuhlman Cellars recommends pairing this wine with seafood, salad, charcuterie, and Tex-Mex, which is why I enjoyed my bottle on the dock with loaded guacamole and bacon artichoke pinwheels. It was a perfect happy hour by the water!
If you want to try a whole array of rosés, Kuhlman Cellars currently has a Bouquet of Rosés bundle. This delightfully named bundle includes the 2020 Estate Rosé, Hensell Rosé, 2019 Estate Rosé and my personal favorite, the 2020 Hensell Rosé.
Cheers to that,
