This is a gussied up version of my grilled asparagus. With a squeeze of fresh lemon hot off the grill and a sprinkling of parmesan cheese, this is an easy, elegant side dish that comes together in just five minutes.
I really never measure when I’m grilling asparagus. Measure with your heart! Drizzle olive oil over asparagus, then grind sea salt and black pepper over it then toss it on the grill. So easy!
Asparagus varies quite a lot in thickness. Thin spears could be ready in as little as two minutes while thicker asparagus could take up seven or eight minutes depending on how hot your grill is. Grill with the lid closed and just check every couple of minutes until it’s slightly charred and bends a bit when you pick it up.
