Grilled Asparagus

Grilled Asparagus

I cannot believe I’ve never posted this before. Asparagus is one of my favorite things to grill! I absolutely love it with grilled meats and couscous and I LOVE leftovers in green salad and pasta salad. What’s awesome about grilled asparagus is that it’s great right off the grill, at room temperature, and even cold in salad.

I never measure when I’m grilling asparagus. Measure with your heart! Drizzle olive oil over asparagus, then grind sea salt and black pepper over it. Toss it on the grill until it bends a bit when you pick it up. It’s so easy! Asparagus varies quite a lot in thickness. Thin spears can go for as little as two minutes while thicker asparagus could take up to ten minutes depending on how hot your grill is.

  1. Preheat grill to about 350 degrees.
  2. Snap ends off of asparagus. Toss with extra virgin olive oil, sea salt, and black pepper.
  3. Depending on thickness of asparagus, grill for 2-5 minutes, until the spears are slightly charred and bend a bit when you pick them up. So easy!

Happy grilling,
