Looking for an Indiana Jones drink recipe? You found it! This easy wine punch is basically a fruitless sangria. It’s so refreshing and easy to make.
One sip and you might just find eternal life! This drink recipe was of course inspired by The Last Crusade. I thought the brandy was a nice nod to Sean Connery. He seems like a brandy guy, doesn’t he?
At Disney Dinners: Indiana Jones, I served this fabulous Indiana Jones drink in custom holy grails made by Dallas potter Marbleized Ceramics. Michael does incredible work. Slide into his DMs to order your very own holy grail – the perfect gift for any Indiana Jones fan!
This recipe easily doubles/triples/quadruples for a large crowd.
Last Crusade Sangria
1 bottle red wine (light red)
4 oz brandy
2 oz Orange Curacao
Juice of 2 lemons
2-3 oz simple syrup*
- Juice lemons, then stir with wine, brandy, and Orange Curacao. Sweeten to your taste with simple syrup.
- Refrigerate for 24 hours. Give it a stir before serving.
To make simple syrup: combine a 1:1 ratio of granulated sugar and water in a small sauce pan on the stove. Heat and whisk until sugar has melted completely and liquid is clear. Let cool, then store in a jar for several weeks in the fridge.
