Christmas Charcuterie Board

Christmas Charcuterie Board

Looking for Christmas Charcuterie Board inspiration? You found it! With lots of festive flavors and red and green touches, this gorgeous board is sure to wow your guests this holiday season.

It’s so hard for me to make a charcuterie board without a salami rose these days. It’s just so pretty and takes no time at all! If you haven’t seen my salami rose tutorial, read this. I actually used three kinds of salami to create a vibrant red bleeding rose out of salami. So chic!

Thank you to my grocery partner Kroger for supporting The Rose Table and this recipe! It’s partnerships like this that keep The Rose Table going.

A good charcuterie board includes:

  • At least two kinds of charcuterie (cold cuts) and three kinds of cheese
  • Colorful fruit
  • Nuts
  • At least two kinds of crackers
  • Fresh herbs for a pop of color

I served this beautiful board alongside my Smoked Salmon Crostini at my Alpine Christmas Party and it was a hit. You of course can easily swap out ingredients but I hope this will give you a good roadmap for your very own Christmas charcuterie board!

Christmas Charcuterie Board

Salami
Prosciutto
Cinnamon and cranberry goat cheese
Smoked gouda or havarti cubes
Munster cheese

Fresh cherries
Mixed olives
Crackers
Dried cranberries

Candied walnuts
Rosemary Marcona almonds

Fresh mint and rosemary

  1. To make the salami rose: Fold one piece of salami over the edge of the wine glass. Grab another slice and do the same thing, partially overlapping the first piece of salami. Keep going until the entire pack is used and the center of the wine glass is filled with salami. Place your hand on top of the salami and gently flip the whole thing upside down on to the board. Remove the wine glass and ooh and ahh as your salami rose is revealed.
  2. Style cheese board with the ingredients listed above. I recommend starting with the cheese, then the fruit, crackers, almonds, and finally garnishing with fresh herbs.
