The Ficus Suite at The Buccaneer Resort

The Ficus Suite at The Buccaneer

Never did I think I would end up in the 1,400 square foot, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom Ficus Suite at The Buccaneer Resort but somehow I did and I have to tell you about it! I was perfectly happy in an oceanfront villa until we unexpectedly had to move rooms and my goodness, was this a sight for sore eyes.

Overlooking The Buccaneer’s pool and Grotto Beach with sweeping views of the Caribbean from both master suites, the Ficus Suite is a phenomenal choice for a family vacation. Both bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, craftsman details, high ceilings, and four-poster beds and both open to up a large balcony terrace.

The Ficus Suite also two sitting areas, three TVs, a kitchen, a dining table, beautiful tropical art, and a third bathroom. One couch even opens up to a bed, meaning the suite can comfortably sleep six.

Most notably, the Ficus Suite has a fantastic location: it’s a short walk to The Terrace and Mermaid Beach (or you can use the shuttle service to get around) and it’s mere steps away from the pool and Grotto Beach below. Grotto Beach is home to Beaugard’s on the Beach, the fire dancing show, snorkeling, and ample space for lounging.

If you are looking for a way to comfortably fit the whole family for your next trip to Saint Croix, the Ficus Suite is perfect! I was so wishing my family was with me to play cards on the deck and watch the sun dip into the Caribbean.
