This adorable beachside restaurant is located right on Mermaid Beach with gorgeous views of the Caribbean Sea. You can eat inside the beautifully appointed restaurant – it’s quite chic! – or you can order from the beach bar and have food brought right to your lounge chair.
The menu is full of wraps, tacos, snacks, and ice cream bars – everything you’d want for a casual day on the beach. There are also lots of beach games and lawn games right around the restaurant to entertain kids of all ages.
I’ve been dreaming about eating these conch fritters again literally for years so of course I had to get them with a Miami Vice cocktail, which is half Pina colada, half strawberry daiquiri. Served with garlic aioli, they’re the perfect beach snack.
On a different day, I ordered the mahi tacos with tropical salsa, citrus aioli, and sweet potato fries. This was a generous portion and I loved the tropical salsa! I washed it down with The Cruzan Pain Killer, which is just about the best beach cocktail I’ve ever had. The bartender was even kind enough to teach me how to make it!
