French Cheese Board

I truly believe the key to happiness is hard meats and soft cheeses. You can quote me on that. This board combines a variety of French cheeses with salty cured meats, olives, fruits, preserves (Okay, fine, I forgot to set out the fig preserves. They’re still in my pantry!), and honey arranged beautifully with herbs. I even scored honeycomb to make the board really impressive!

It does take a few minutes to arrange before a party but there’s also no cooking involved, making it a fabulously easy party dish. I had big plans for this board and ended up arranging it in all of six minutes so please forgive that I completely forgot the fig preserves and olives. Not bad for a speedy board, right? I kept joking that I felt like I was on chopped!

The bowl next to the cheese board is full of assorted breads, sliced and covered so they wouldn’t dry out.

The French know what they’re doing with a cheese plate. I made this giant board for my Cinderella Ball, inspired by the Disney classic that’s of French origin. I added cheddar cubes to the board for Gus Gus and named it Gus’ Cheese Board.

I’m still shocked that I was able to find truffle mousse in your cheese section! I love that the cheese section also has nuts, preserves, crackers, and random cheese board items like the marinated artichokes seen here.
