A delicious cherry orange bourbon punch
Looking for a punch you can serve again and again? This punch is a crowd pleaser! I made this for happy hour at my parents’ lake house with my girlfriends and everyone loved it.

This is super simple to make. No tricks here: just pour everything in a large pitcher or punch bowl and give it a stir. Use frozen black cherries to chill the punch without watering it down. Bonus? They’re delicious as they thaw!

Thanks to the ginger ale, this is a really drinkable punch. It’s well balanced between the tart cherry juice, hint of orange, and earthy rosemary. It’s not too sweet either. I recommend starting with a quarter cup of grenadine and adding up to a quarter cup more if you want it sweeter.
Don’t forget the dash of bitters to make it extra fancy! This is a highly aromatic drink. The orange scent from the bitters and the beautiful fresh rosemary hits you before you even taste a sip.

My hair stylist Charity is getting married later this month and asked me what punch she should serve. Charity is a bourbon lover like me so I came up with this recipe for her. I really haven’t made that many bourbon punches before so I’m happy to add this to my repertoire and I’m honored that she’s going to serve this at her wedding!

Cherr-ity Bourbon Punch
64 oz tart cherry juice
16 oz (2 cups) bourbon
1/4 cup orange curacao
1/4-1/2 cup grenadine (sweeten to taste)
1 liter ginger ale
2 oranges, cut into segments
1 bag frozen black cherries
Rosemary sprigs for garnish
Dash Angostura bitters per glass
- Combine cherry juice, bourbon, curacao, and grenadine in a punch bowl or large pitcher. Chill until ready to serve.
- Right before serving, add chilled ginger ale, orange segments, and frozen cherries. Garnish with rosemary sprigs and orange wedges. Add a dash of bitters and enjoy!
