Italian Hot Chocolate

Super thick, creamy, dreamy, hot chocolate

Have you ever see hot chocolate so thick it’s almost pudding? No, it isn’t from an abundance of cream or chocolate. Italian hot chocolate is thickened with cornstarch. It’s so satisfying and amazing! It’s a must-try recipe for chocolate lovers like me.

This is so thick, you may want to enjoy it with a spoon! If you want it less thick, use a little less cornstarch but it really is decadent this thick.

I wrote this up for a single mug-size serving or two dainty little servings but this recipe easily doubles. Scroll down for 2 large, 4 small servings.
