Looking for a delicious snack that’s as healthy as it is beautiful? You found it! Here I’ve topped my favorite tzatziki recipe with hummus, chopped cucumber, cherry tomatoes, Kalamata olives, feat cheese, and green onions for the Greek dip of my dreams. Seriously, this is so many of my favorite ingredients all rolled up into one delicious bite.
I thought this combo would be good but I was still blown away when I took a bite. It’s unbelievably delicious. So delicious, people will be shocked when you tell them how healthy it is!
What is tzatziki, you ask?
Tzatziki is very popular in Greece! It’s a greek yogurt cucumber dip that’s perfect spread in a gyro, spooned onto pita bread, and served with grilled meats. You can of course use store bought tzatziki but my tzatziki recipe is so easy to make and full of authentic Greek flavor!
Serve this Greek Seven Layer Dip with pita chips (my favorite is Stacy’s parmesan and garlic!) for the most epic snack.
P.S. It would be more classic to serve this seven layer dip in a shallow dish but my mom just got me a set of three fabulous white platters for Christmas so I decided to build the dip on one of the platters!

Greek Seven Layer Dip
Tzatziki (recipe follows)
1 cup hummus
1 cup chopped cucumber
1 cup quartered cherry tomatoes
1/3 cup Kalamata olives, sliced
1/3 cup crumbled feta cheese
1/4 cup sliced green onions
Pita chips for serving
- Make tzatziki according to recipe below. Refrigerate for at least an hour.
- Spread tzatziki in a serving dish. Carefully spread hummus over tzatziki, then layer remaining ingredients on top in the order listed. Cover and refrigerate for two hours before serving. Serve with pita chips.
Tzatziki
1 medium cucumber
1 cup plain Greek yogurt (Greek Gods is my favorite)
1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp vinegar
1/2 tsp salt
1 Tbsp fresh dill, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
- Peel cucumber. Slice lengthwise and use a spoon to scoop out seeds. Carefully grate cucumber into shreds. Squeeze cucumber in a cheese cloth and squeeze to remove excess water.
- Stir with remaining ingredients and chill for one hour.
