Looking for the best recipe for classic strawberry milkshakes? You found it! You’ll feel like you’re in an old fashioned soda shop with this delicious recipe. It’s so fast and easy to make too. You’re minutes away from a delicious homemade shake!

I used Tillamook strawberry ice cream for these milkshakes, which is a very soft pink shade. Obviously if you use a pinker ice cream, your shake will be a brighter pink. If you’re making these for kids and want them even pinker, you can always add a bit of red food coloring if you prefer.

If you want fresh strawberries in your milkshake, you can certainly add one or two fresh strawberries per shake. That would be equally delicious!

I always top milkshakes with homemade whipped cream. It takes literally 1-2 minutes to make and adds so much. If you’re too lazy to pipe it, just spoon it right on. Delicious!

To make homemade whipped cream, whip 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream in a metal bowl with a metal whisk until soft peaks form. Whisk in 2 Tbsp powdered sugar and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract. Spoon or pipe on top of milkshakes.
