Cranberry Cream Cheese Appetizer

Cranberry Cream Cheese Appetizer

It’s no secret that my cranberry sauce is internet famous. It makes sense since my mom put me in charge of our family’s cranberry sauce when I was a teenager and I spent a decade perfecting it. You might have it with Thanksgiving dinner, on a turkey sandwich, or in my cranberry brie bites, but did you know it’s freaking fantastic spooned over cream cheese and served with crackers? If you’re looking for a super quick and easy holiday snack, make my Cranberry Cream Cheese Appetizer!

Cranberry Cream Cheese Appetizer

We discovered this quite recently when I spooned cranberry sauce over cream cheese for my Thanksgiving Charcuterie Board and we were absolutely blown away by how delicious it was. We kept exclaiming, “This could be its own dish!” So here we are: the perfect use for leftover cranberry sauce!

The Best Cranberry Sauce Recipe

This probably goes without saying but do not use canned cranberry sauce here. First of all, that stuff doesn’t resemble sauce in any way. The whole point is using leftover cranberry sauce. My cranberry sauce, filled with orange juice, citrus zest, tangy cranberries, and a bit of vanilla, lasts for weeks in the fridge so you can pull it out for this easy appetizer all holiday season. I know tons of my Rosies make it every year so I hope to see you adding this to the list of things to do with it after Thanksgiving dinner!
