These adorable little Pimento Cheese Sliders are perfect for a Kentucky Derby party or any southern fête! It’s a great make ahead recipe too; you can easily make these the morning of your party and refrigerate them until you’re ready to serve.

If you aren’t Southern, let me first say: pimento cheese spread is an absolute thing in the South. You can buy really great pimento cheese or make my friend JCP Eats’ pimento cheese spread recipe, found here.

This recipe would also be delicious with ham or bacon, but I kept it vegetarian for my party with thickly cut beefsteak tomatoes. Make this easy recipe all summer long when you’ve got vine-ripened garden tomatoes. Yum!
Note: I doubled this recipe for my Kentucky Derby party. I also added adorable rose toothpicks to add a little bit of Rose Table magic to this simple dish.
