Looking for the ultimate 4th of July Breakfast Board? You found it! This delicious family-friendly board has mini buttermilk pancakes, tons of red, white, and blue fruit, breakfast sausages, and even firework fruit wands.

4th of July Breakfast Board

I was originally going to make my standard sized firework fruit wands for this board but I was out of bamboo skewers (whoops!) so I used leftover festive toothpicks for a mini version and they turned out so cute.

If you’ve never had my buttermilk pancakes before, you’re in for a treat! They’re so good. I made them a bit smaller than usual for this breakfast board.

I chose breakfast sausages for this board because they’re easy to hold on warm while you make everything else but feel free to use bacon if you prefer. Or make both!

If you’re cooking for a crowd, I also highly suggest my Patriotic Yogurt Parfaits!

4th of July Breakfast Board

Buttermilk pancakes
Breakfast sausages (or bacon!)
Firework fruit wands (blueberries, watermelon)
Strawberries, cherries, raspberries
Maple syrup, blueberry syrup*
Whipped cream

  1. Cook breakfast sausage in a small skillet. Keep sausages warm while you make the pancakes.
  2. Make The Rose Table’s buttermilk pancakes smaller than usual; about 2-3″.
  3. While pancakes are cooking, thread blueberries on festive toothpicks or small skewers. Use a cookie cutter to cut stars out of watermelon slices and top each toothpick with a watermelon star.
  4. Arrange pancakes, sausages, assorted fruit, syrups, whipped cream, and festive fruit wands on the board and serve immediately.

*My easy blueberry sauce would also be amazing here!
