Looking for inspiration for your Hamilton party? Make this red, white, and blue “Satisfied” Cheese Board inspired by the Schuyler sisters!

Thank you to my grocery partner Kroger DFW for supporting The Rose Table and this recipe! It’s partnerships like this that keep The Rose Table going.

I couldn’t believe my eyes when I spotted this 1776 aged cheddar at Kroger (rather ironically produced in the UK!) and built the whole cheese board around it. I included my famous salami rose because of course the Schuyler sisters deserve a rose.

“You want a revolution? I want a revelation!”
I included cranberry goat cheese (red) and blue cheese plus red and blue fruit and I chose fiery red pepper jelly on cream cheese because Angelica is sweet and fiery. Calming rosemary from my garden of course represents our steadfast Eliza and looks so pretty on a cheese board!

Note: I made this cheese board quite literally in three minutes before my party started and forgot to add crackers! So I served them on the side. I had delicious fig crackers, cranberry crackers, and classic water crackers.

- To make the salami rose: Fold one piece of salami over the edge of the wine glass. Grab another slice and do the same thing, partially overlapping the first piece of salami. Keep going until the entire pack is used and the center of the wine glass is filled with salami. Place your hand on top of the salami and gently flip the whole thing upside down on to the board. Remove the wine glass and ooh and ahh as your salami rose is revealed.
- Style cheese board with the ingredients listed above. I recommend starting with the salami rose, then the cheeses, prosciutto, fruit, and finally garnishing with fresh herbs. Serve with assorted crackers.
