Shakespeare in the Park by Shakespeare Dallas is one of the coolest things to do in Dallas! I should know; I’m proud to be their publicist. People take food and wine and sit under the stars and enjoy shows. It’s really the most *me* event!

Performances are held outdoors at the Samuell-Grand Amphitheater east of downtown Dallas and picnicking is not only allowed, it’s highly encouraged. I took my niece to go see Alice in Wonderland, which is part of their 54th annual Shakespeare in the Park festival.

Alice in Wonderland is running concurrently with The Merry Wives of Windsor through July 19th and it’s just such silly fun! My niece had so much fun. There are lots of musical numbers and the costuming is amazing. It’s such a good time!

I took some fruit and a delicious pasta salad made with veggies and edible flowers from my garden, plus Oreo Rice Krispie Treats because my niece loves them.

I also went to see The Merry Wives of Windsor with my friend Sofia. It was such a beautiful night for it. This is a fast-paced comedy. The cast gave 100%! I took a charcuterie board and veggie board, plus Chocolate Pecan Pie Bars for dessert.

So if you want something awesome to do with your girlfriends or as a date night, be sure to check out Shakespeare Dallas. The ticket price is just $20, very affordable! They even allow dogs on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. It’s truly one of my favorite events of the whole year.
