Serendipity Style Turkey & Brie Sandwich

Serendipity Style Turkey & Brie Sandwich | The Rose Table
I’ve said before that there are meals worth getting on a plane for. Lunch at Serendipity 3 NYC is one of them! It’s been years since I’ve had the pleasure of visiting New York City and eating an epic open-faced sandwich at Serendipity but it remains one of the best lunches of my life.

We popped in for lunch before seeing Wicked on Broadway. Snow gently fell on the skylight above us as we indulged in sandwiches, incredible sundaes, and of course frrrozen hot chocolate. We rotated desserts just like they do in the movie One Fine Day and when we finished lunch and walked outside, New York was covered in a blanket of snow. It was the sixth highest snowfall on record! I always think of snowy New York when I eat this sandwich.

Serendipity Sundaes are meant to be shared!

My next task should probably be to create some Serendipity-inspired sundaes, don’t you think? I love Serendipity so much that over the years my family has gifted me with the Sweet Serendipity cookbook, the official Frrrozen Hot Chocolate goblet, and packs of the Frrrozen Hot Chocolate mix. Naturally I had to come up with a sandwich to go with my sweet Serendipity treats!

Every fall I make this sandwich and am instantly transported to Serendipity’s whimsical dining room with just one bite. Serendipity serves their sandwiches with greens, orange slices, and more Russian dressing so that’s how I serve mine! It’s always a hit and comes together in mere minutes. It’s the perfect festive lunch!

Watch me make it:

You can get the recipe for Frrrozen Hot Chocolate from the Serendipity cookbook or buy the mix. Fun fact: I actually own the official Serendipity frrrozen hot chocolate goblet! My sister in law bought for me years ago as a Christmas present.
