Looking for a quick sauce that’s sure to impress your guests? You found it! This sauce only takes about fifteen minutes to make and is perfect for the summer season. Sauté garlic in olive oil, add cherries and balsamic vinegar, let it reduce, then stir in fresh rosemary. Your house will smell positively divine!

I originally came up with this recipe for my Midsummer Night’s Dream Dinner party but you don’t have to make it as part of my Kissing Cherries Chicken, so I decided to write it up as a stand-alone recipe. In addition to chicken, this sauce would be delicious on pork, as a fun twist on bruschetta, or even on steak or turkey!
This is the perfect sauce to make in the summertime when fresh cherries are abundant.

1 Tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 cups fresh cherries, pitted
3 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 Tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
- Cook chopped garlic in olive oil over medium heat for a few minutes until golden.
- Add cherries and balsamic vinegar and cook until cherries have softened and balsamic has reduced, about ten minutes.
- Stir in chopped rosemary. Keep warm until ready to serve.
Stay saucy,
