I came up with delightful French Onion Soup Crostini for my Beauty and the Beast tea party as an homage to one of my favorite French dishes. It’s so quick and easy to make, I know I’ll be making it for years to come.
Here, toasty baguette slices are topped with delicious onion jam, gruyere cheese, and fresh thyme. Now you could absolutely caramelize onions yourself if you have the time but for heaven’s sake, when I’m hosting a party and making a million things, I can’t take the time to caramelize my own onions. I was blown away by this Divina Caramelized Onion Jam. (Not sponsored, just had to rave about it!) It smells like heaven on earth and tastes even better.
This really is a perfect bite of food: crunchy, creamy, earthy, and sweet with a touch of freshness from the garden thyme. It would be so elegant for a holiday party!
