Honey Garlic Baked Salmon

Honey Garlic Baked Salmon

I first came up with my Honey Garlic Baked Salmon as a foil packet method for the grill – which is also delicious! – and quickly decided I needed to come up with an oven method for a whole filet to feed a crowd. This is so easy to make and literally only takes a mere minutes of prep but is elegant enough for the classiest of dinner parties. You’ll want to make this recipe again and again!

Sometimes less is more. The glaze is only three ingredients – butter, honey, and garlic – but wow oh wow does it deliver. It transforms the salmon into something magical.

Honey Garlic Glaze

This is one of those recipes where once you make it you wonder how you’ve been living without it. It pairs nicely with rice or mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, or asparagus, and so much more.

Honey Garlic Baked Salmon
1-2 pound salmon filet
Salt, black pepper
4 Tbsp unsalted butter
1/4 cup honey
4 garlic cloves, minced

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil or a silicone baking mat. Spray with non-stick spray. Set salmon skin-side down on foil and season well with salt and pepper.
  2. In a small sauce pan, melt together butter, honey, and garlic until the mixture bubbles and thickens, about 3-5 minutes. Pour glaze over salmon. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until cooked through to your liking.
  3. Let salmon cool for 5-10 minutes, carefully spooning glaze back on top of the salmon. Delicious served with rice and veggies!
