You forget how great homemade pesto is. It’s so quick and easy too! I don’t like to freeze pesto so I typically make a small batch and gobble it up in a few days.
Pesto is so easy to make and adds such incredible flavor to grilled meats, crostini, sandwiches, and so much more. Once you make pesto, you’ll never go back to store bought!
2 cups packed fresh basil leaves
1/4 cup pine nuts
1 garlic clove
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup pecorino cheese
- Process basil, pine nuts, and gloves in a food processor. Stream in olive oil. Season to your liking, then stir in cheese and serve immediately.
