Looking for the BEST Lemon Tartar Sauce recipe for shrimp? This sauce is an absolute game-changer and it only takes minutes to whisk together.
I served this amazing sauce alongside juicy shrimp at my Kentucky Derby party. I was determined to come up with a tangy, yummy white tartar sauce and this turned out even better than I hoped. All of my guests LOVED it; there wasn’t a drop left.

People loved it so much that I made it again for my Wicked Ball!

This lemon tartar sauce would also be brilliant on my pan-fried tilapia. Don’t skip the fresh dill – it makes it! Lemons vary in size so be sure to taste it to make sure it’s lemony enough.
Pro tip: you can eat it immediately but it’s much better to let it chill for a few hours. It’ll thicken up a little bit and the flavors will come together for one magical sauce!

Lemon Tartar Sauce
1 cup mayonnaise
2 Tbsp dill relish
2 Tbsp fresh dill, chopped
Juice from half a large lemon
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1-1.5 tsp Dijon mustard
Salt and black pepper to taste
